What We Do

Lime Pointing brickwork at Wrexham property

Lime Pointing

Lime pointing is used in traditional built houses and comprises of lime and a suitable aggregate.

It is used to build and to fill gaps in stone, brick or slate which allows the building to move and breathe and it helps maintain their structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.

Lime Washing

Lime washing is a technique of applying a paint made from lime and water to a surface which creates a breathable, matt finish that allows the surface to breathe.

This can be a white solution but pigments can be added to change the colour of the lime wash.

Fireplace / Paint Removal

Fireplace restoration can be the removal of unsuitable paint layers and to return it to its original condition.

Any damage to the stone, slate, tiles or wood can repaired if possible in situ.

Render Removal at residential property in Wrexham

Render Removal

We also can carry out render removal. This usually involves the removal of a cement based render which is unsuitable for a traditional built property as this can trap moisture and cause damp and decay.
